The Campaign

#BuildingResilience is a pan-African campaign led by the First Lady of Gabon, Her Excellency Mrs. Zita Oligui Nguema, focused on strengthening resilience for women and girls facing climate change and conflict across the continent.

OAFLAD (Organization of African First Ladies for Development) is a continental body that brings together African First Ladies to advocate for health, education, and women's empowerment across the continent.

BALANCE (ÉQUILIBRES 2026–2029) is a multi-year programme under CAP 241 that coordinates action across three axes: Prevent, Support, and Rebuild — addressing the root causes and consequences of fragility for women and girls.
